As the daughter of parents both composers and violinists, I was trained as a classical concert pianist. I studied at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, where I graduated with a Licence de Piano. I have performed as a pianist in Europe and in the United States. My first performance at SUNY Oneonta was for the Philosophy and Theater Departments, in the Conference, “From Performance to Theory, Aesthetics across the Disciplines,” for which I gave a paper titled “Freud’s avoidance of Music” and gave a Music performance, with Schubert Lieder with David Carr, tenor, and Professor of Philosophy at Emory University.
